07/07/2012 – Returned home from our wonderful 3 week trek across America. Why do people say glad to be home? It’s better on vacation. Be sure to look for Anna to post wonderful trip reports and some awesome pictures from NJ to WA to Alaska and back home.

“You cannot get airfare cheap enough for us all to fly to Florida during Thanksgiving week” That was the dare, challange, gauntlet or whatever that Anna tossed to be over the rental car seat as we are driving towards the Delware Memorial Bridge.
The schedule has us all packed during the week while I am in Minneapolis, the house cleaned, all the laundry done, and when I am at the airport, picking up a rental car and driving home. We grab the kids after school and then drive to Florida starting at 2:45 PM on a Friday.

Today starts our thanksgiving vacation with a cruise on Carnival Imagination for 5 days in the Western Caribbean. In these economic times it was a great value at $179 per person. So to spend Thanksgiving with the extended family my mother and Russell are goign, and that makes 7.
