Dragon Harper review

Dragon Harper review

This is my first ever book from Anne McCaffrey in the Dragon riders of Pern series. And it is my last. On a flight home, I picked up this book at the Minneapolis airport news stand and by the end of the flight wanted to just leave the book on the plane. It sucked.

Road of the Patriarch review

In the final episode of this series, Jarlaxle and Entreri find themselves having to answer for their actions at Zhengyi’s construct. Both the Spysong Dynasty and the Citadel of Assassins have lost associates at the castle and search for answers from these two. The Paladin King isn’t very amused and the Citadel is even less [...]

Another outstanding book from Salvatore in the world of Drizzt. The shard is gone but its memory will haunt Artemis and Jarlaxle’s thoughts for days to come. It is time to leave the past and head out from Calimport. We find outselves together with Artemis Entreri and Jarlaxle Baenre as mercenaries in the lands of [...]

Servant of the Shard review

Yet another week on a plane and I am picked up the three paperbacks in the Sellswords Trilogy and started reading Servant of the Shard. Artemis is fooled into thinking that he defeated Drizzt. Now he is spending all of his time in the company of Jarlaxle. Jarlaxle is under the influence of the crystal [...]

Sandworms of Dune review

I only know Dune from the movie. The original which I really enjoyed. I saw the Sci-Fi channel remake and did not get it. I don’t know if it was more accurate or not, I just didn’t get it. And I know Dune was written by Kevin Anderson who wrote the series I really enjoyed, [...]

The Orc King Transitions Book I review

I picked up The Orc King, Book I in the Transitions series by R.A. Salvatore because I was out of books and like a junky I walked into the geek science fiction and fantasy section and took any book that was by him I could find, that I did not already own. And now apparently [...]

The Hunter’s Blade Trilogy review

Not much of a review. I have three books in a still shrink wrapped package to take on our trip to Europe. If I get time to actually write a review, that is to be determined. If these books in the Forgotten Realms setting by R.A. Salvatore are like all his other work, I expect [...]

Sea of Swords Drizzt Book XIII review

I am almost done this book, but had to stop on page 65 because my plane landed. I dont read these in the hotel or at home. Just at the airport and on the plane. 65 doesn’t seem like much into a book, but I so enjoy the Forgotten Realms epic saga that R.A. Salvatore spins, [...]

The Spine of the World is Book XII in the Forgotten Realms epic sage The Legend of Drizzt written by R.A. Salvatore. A stirring tale of the fale of a barbarian hero we have loved, lost, and then gotten back. Now we witness his tumble back onto the prime mortal plane only to be unable [...]

Passage to Dawn Book X review

How did I skip Book X? It was not available when I was buying these books up in a pile everywhere I flew. Between the Minneapolis airport, Marlton, NJ Borders and the Orlando, FL Borders, I have a large stack of books from R.A. Salvatore.
