I had the opportunity to watch an early release of this show this morning and give you my review before the general airinbg tonight. I am sure the folks at CW are very excited about this show. The premise is meant to pluck hard at the heart strings of woman, woman who can’t get pregnant, woman who got pregnant and had an abortion, woman who got pregnant, had a kid and then lost it due to: illness, accident, death, war, drugs, divorce, abduction, kidnapping, life raft to the US of A from Cuba, or adoption. Get the picture?
In short, this show is a chick show. Just watching the previews makes undescended testicles rise back up faster then men during a Polar Bear day event.
Men skip it - unless your girl insists on watching it, then help get the kids to bed early, take out the trash, get the dishes loaded into the dishwasher, turn down the lights, grab a throw for her, make popcorn or whatever her snack choice is, get her feet up on your legs, shoes off, and spend the hour giving her a foot and lower calf massage. And pay attention to getting her in the mood, and then good luck to you for the rest of the evening.
Of course ignore the show only enough to know the names of the characters. And here is all you need to know
The guy - “Yeah I think the Dad is being a jerk, he should try harder”
The woman - “She has it so hard (ignore her job as a radio celebrity or all of her income especially in the current economy and relative to her social index needs based on her standard of living, in short, ignore reality and just repeat “she has it so hard”)”
The kid - the kid is a girl, all you need to know the kid is a girl and say “That little girl so needs love”

What a great song. I heard it tonight on the Chill Dance station on iTunes, and loved it. Her best song I can’t really ever listen to any more, so it was great to find another great hit from her. And one that fits - heck, I wonder why Anna doesn’t have this as her ringtone when I am away on a business trip.

Hmm, not the sort of space story you expect, a spaceship flying over a train as they rob some cargo inside the train. But it was a hyper fast train. The Serenity crew is coerced into pulling a train robbery. When they discover the stolen cargo is actually medicine intended for refugees, they are forced to reevaluate their plans.
The story was interesting nut the real highlight was the interview at the end trying to return the bad guys money. Kicking the guy into the engine was fun to watch.

Never saw this show before, which really limited my ability to ask latest questions to Ron Glass. Thanks to Hulu and my having caught up to speed with Battlestar Galactica, I started to watch this series today.
In this original pilot episode, the crew transports passengers to another planet to sell salvaged goods only to discover that an undercover Alliance agent is on board the Serenity. The crew seems to be prisioners of war in a losing battle, turned into scab salvagers in some old junker ship. As huge as space is, why would an Alliance cruiser just happen to fly by as they are working on a derilict?
The music is very country and western, along with the use of standard cartridge weapons. Nothing space laser ific in this show. In fact, the ships are the only thing space sci-fi about it.

Listening to the greatest mail singer performing Fly me to the moon. What movie was this in?
I saw it in the theatre with Anna. Even if she denies it. It had Dirty Harry init and James Rockford and the guy who was a killer who kidnapped a girl from a truck stop.
Anyway at the end of the movie James Rockford is on the moon facing earth and alone.
