I posted a few days ago about a great song I heard for the first time, Here with me by Dido. One of her songs has a lot of significance in my life, and I haven’t listened to anything she has performed since then. She did some great songs, but I really liked Thank you. It is an awesome song, and just wonderful to listen to.

I want to thank you for giving me the best day in my life

And one day, I got a call at work from Anna, had a chat for a few minutes with Don from LTA, now ARGIX, got a call back from Anna, and went to my car and drove home. I started the car and this song came on the radio. And that really sucked.

For the past week I have been listening to a dance musicstation I found on iTunes called CHILL, and have just loved all of the music. Including this really great song about here with me. I thought it was just such a great song, it reminded me about Anna and I and my travelling for work all the time.

And I find out its from Dido.

Which makes me immediately think about Thank you.

Well, I wondered today what her name was, and found this wiki article snippet about her -

To be called one thing and christened another is actually very confusing and annoying. It’s one of the most irritating things that my parents did to me. …Florian is a German man’s name. That’s just mean. To give your child a whole lot of odd names. They were all so embarrassing. …I thought it was cruel to call me Dido and then expect me to just deal with it.

Dido, Interview published in The Observer in 2001[3]

So Gracie was an Irish Wolfhound we had in Orlando, who came to us as a rescue, had a few expensive health issues, compounded y her size as a wolfhound.

My third daughters name is Granuaile. Enough with the nicknames.

If you don’t like it, i refer you to the title above.
