Rate Reduction Center is a telemarketing scam and possibly a credit card fraud. Do not give these people any information. They are violating Federal laws, violating the National Do Not Call list, and who knows what else.

Their automated dialer is just calling every number it randomly spits out and delivers a canned prerecorded message about saving on your credit card interest rate. Press Number 1 or such. They you get transferred to an individual who starts asking questions to gather your personal information.

What are they calling you? Their predictive dialer is just calling everyone and ignoring the FCC National Do Not Call List

Why would you do business with an organization that breaks the law? Why would you give your personal information to these kinds of people? No good can come from this.

4/11/2009, 11.01 AM > 11:12 AM. Recording pushing mortgage rate reduction, press 6 get “Doug”; refuses last name, refuses to id location, electronically cuts me over to his auto-dialer which calls number of others with a cutover to recording that number no longer in service. Looked them up and found them at 1700 Old Meadow Rd in McLean, 22102. As a former resident of McLean, I know the brick building where they’re located diagonally across from Tyson’s Corner off 123. Somebody go bomb that place since we’ve been on the DNC list since day 1!

A little harsh, but be sure to submit your complaint with the DNC with all the details. They do want to go after these people, but the economy I am sure has taken their toll on law enforcement agencies to smack these scum bags around. And they probably know it and are coming out of the walls like the vermin they are.
