This is another horrible aspect of Jita - buying a high value item there and having to fear a ganker scanning your cargo hold just for the grief kill. Inis ce,h em ws too larg to ins a secured cotain

And that right there is the sentence I was typing during the lag trying to get out of Jita. Why they don’t do what Asheon’s Call did to the market in some city I forget the name - the one south down the road from the small village where I hung out for some time. Hmm, where is a map of Azertoh?

Anyway, the city was a market and the game could not handle the lag so they blew it up. Of course everyone moved inside of the Subway and it became the lag beast zone. But from a server stand point they moved people into a specific instace. When they started doing stacked instances they created multiple subways to fight the lag.

Every MMO wants a ton of players, and with that comes players doing commerce together. Why does Jita have such huge lag? Because of the traffic. Why are the city owners of Jita not imposing higher fees to jump into or out of Jita? This will help disperse the problem and make them more money. It is a coin sink begging to help solve the problem.

And server as a warning to the players that if one market becomes way too popular, people will be taxed with gate fees.

How many people are in Jita? How many jump in each day? Set a variabe tax each day based on the prior days activities - if there are 500 people in system, tax them a daily rental fee. If nothing else, get the freaking griefers out of Jita by charging them an hourly rate to stand there and suck of space.
