I just finished my October 2008 issue of American Rifleman. A few interesting and expected commentaries on Obama and suprise suprise - Obama and liberals don’t want people who have not committed any crimes to be able to bear arms.

By their very name, should liberals be about people’s freedoms and rights, and letting people govern themselves? You know - be liberal in government policies to regulate their behaviour? Then why is gun ownership by law abiding private citizens a threat to liberals? By their very name the should be the ones making it easier to get a weapon for self defense and protection.

But just as the two groups are pro life and pro choice as opposed to pro life and pro death. Liberals would not sound as interesting as tight asses hollywood celebrities who think they are better then everyone else and their shit doesn’t stink so they can chant O bama over and over again and you will rally to their cause because - yes because - they are the beautiful people and you should love them.

I’ll stick with gun ownership and self defense for law abiding citizens and laws that make it easy for responsible citizens to exercise their right to bear arms and punish criminials severly for their crimes. And yes, I am in favor of the death penalty.
