If you choose to do an automatic upgrade of AdSense Manager WordPress Plugin you may find yourslf making less money from Google AdSense going forward. The plugin which has a Be Nice feature to display ads for the Author Martin Fitzpatrick will save all of your ad settings on upgrade. But it will overwrite your Be Nice settings back to the default 3% going to Martin.

This is a bit odd since its a free plugin with a Be Nice feature not a mandatory feature. To have Martin keep all of your other settings and then force this on back on is something some people will find a bit unnerving. And to a few this would have them trolling through the plugins files looking for anything else going on behind the scenes and under the covers.

Martin its a nice plugin, but I will have to start looking for a replacement. I don’t know why you would do such a cheap stunt like this.
