Loading ...I am off to the airport to catch a plane to Charlotte, run across and catch a plane to Minneapolis. I could take a direct flight and pay more money, and get there 2 hours later. This also gets me an extra segment for higher frequent flyer status.
But as of August 1st, 2008 USAirways no longer gives bonuses on miles flown. So why get a higher status? For the better chance of getting upgraded to first. Silly thing now without the mileage bonus. I need to look into this and see if it is worth doing this anymore.
