Alsbridge whitepaper - how to spam strangers and piss off people
John Meyerson at Alsbridge decided to spam me today for a new whitepaper. I have never signed up for this service, and in fact had to lookup who these people are. They apparently obtained a few names from where I work and decided to just dictionary attack flood us with his ads. He included his actual email address - john.meyerson@alsbridge.com in the spam. Thanks. I wonder if he has a spam or junk mail filter for his own junk emails? He should not because since he likes sending spam, he should like reading it. Or call them at 2146966410
What was the email about? New white paper from Alsbridge – The Art of Benchmarking. Lets benchmark how well you did today John. Getting customers names correct - zero
Getting customers titles correct - zero
Buying bogus mailing lists to flood people with junk email - 100%
Violating can-spam by sending commercial bulk email to strangers - 100%
And here is where some people like John who think its okay to send spam mail will argue how they did not break any laws because of this loophole or that loophole. Well John, let’s hear how your organization has a zero spam policy and I opted in for your email. Does Alsbridge have an opt-in only policy? A double opt-in policy with a confirmation?
Your office has gotten a lot of calls from people asking about the crap you sent out, thats why your receptionist immediately knew to say “You can just click unsubscribe to stop getting the emails” Thats great if I had subscribed rather then some asshole who purchased a mailing list to try and make a buck. Is your company no better then viagra and porn peddlers? Then why act like them.

I was spammed from John Meyerson too. I’ve called Alsbridge on a number of occasions asking for him but he’s never there. I’m beginning to wonder if he’s a real person.

I too received a message from this company. I reported them to the FCC. You can too. See below:
Forward any SPAM received to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov, making sure you include the full email header, which is required to investigate the complaint.
