True change this election year means voting Republican
What happened to Hillary at the convention? She won the most popular votes. She has the name. She has the experience of having had sex in the White House. That makes her a perfect Democratic candidate for the Presidency. Instead the party went with Obama. And Obama wants to bring in change. So change would mean going against the tide.
What better way to go against the tide then to pick the #2 person as your running mate? - That would have been true change, but Obama neglected to do it. He cannot extened the olive branch within his own party?
What better way to go against the tide then to pick a woman as your running mate? - Obama missed this opportunity for change. He had a choice with Hillary. He had a choice with the Speaker of the House. He had a choice with many woman on the democratic ticket. And he ignored every single one of them.
What better way to go against the tide and pick someone without years of ties to the beltway insiders? - Obama ignored this opportunity and picked a 30+ year incumbent, entrenched, old school, business as usual, politics as usual, old man as his running mate.
What better way to go against the tide of lack of experience and show that you have enough experience and pick a running mate with the same or slightly more years of experience then you? - He picked someone with decades more experience, just telling us that he isn’t ready to run things, he needs an older mentor behind him telling him what to do.
If you want change this year, vote for a long known, experienced Presidential candidate who was always a maverick and not someone to not playing party politics under Bush or prior. And who had the courage to bring about true change and put a woman on the ticket as his running mate. And who had the courage to put a state Governer on the ticket who isn’t an old school beltway politician. And who had the courage to pick a running mate who has stood against corruption, and gone against party lines for the better of her constituents.
Change this year means voting McCain/Palin ‘08.
