The Orc King Transitions Book I review
I picked up The Orc King, Book I in the Transitions series by R.A. Salvatore because I was out of books and like a junky I walked into the geek science fiction and fantasy section and took any book that was by him I could find, that I did not already own. And now apparently I am up on his latest works.
Next to be released in this series is The Pirate King, Book 2 of the Transitions series, due in October 2008.
Here I get to go into detail about the book, story, characters and the world I so enjoyed adventuring in. The problem is I have other books to read, and just moved on. All I can say is it is yet another great book in the larger body of work that is R.A. Salvatore, Forgotten Realms, Drizzt, his twin scimitars, and all his companions in this fascinating world.
Start with any book in this epic world, but if you can go in sequence. Order them all, plunk down the $150 or more to get every book out there. And enjoy the many hours of exciting tales as they unfold before your eyes.
My review of The Orc King - I have to put in a pre-order with Borders for The Pirate King, Book 2 of the Transitions series. What more needs to be said?
