Verizon hangs up
Waahhh Verizon, after months of billing problems, I told Verizon to cancel the house landline. And the next day they called me back to try and fix the problem. A week later, they are cutting me a check for the billing problems. Why can’t they just apply it to the bill? Who knows, its just more ongoing billing garbage with Verizon. I called yesterday to turn the service on, but they could not do it. Apparently the phone company doesn’t work late.
Then they tried to sell me the all in one FIOS package. They work late to sell new stuff.
I called back today and they tried to get me to pay the past due amount again. They I told then what happened, and they said “Oh yeah, you paid your bill each month, you are good to go. Just pay the other amount whenever.”
Now I am waiting for service to be turned back on - for Anna not me. I don’t want the line. And a check from Verizon so I can deposit it and send it to Verizon. How old school.
The hang up? - I called today and a woman asked without any prompting, “Did you get your service turned off for not paying your bill?” I gave her a lecture on what happened till she got frustrated and hung up. With such great professionals, no wonder they are begging them to not go on strike. On my call back, the second woman asked “Did you have your service turned off while you were on summer vacation?” - what a night and day difference.
