Finally, Drizzt steps out into the world of open skys, star filled nights, and blinding dawns and sunsets. Sojourn: The Dark Elf Trilogy, Part 3 in the Forgotten Realms epic adventure series - The Legend of Drizzt, Book III landed in my hands and did not leave until finished…much.

R.A. Salvatore continues to crank out these adventures that just cannot be put down. The characters continue to grow and develop. Past tales come back to grow and in many cases, entangle our hero Drizzt the dark elf, and his new found companians.

Drizzt crept past the shielding shrubs and over the flat and bare stone that led to the cave now serving as his home

How fitting for someone with a dark elf skin that people run away from screaming that he comes across a blind ranger on the surface to spend time with, learning some of the ways of the world outside of the spider queens influence. Drizzt Do’Urden comes under the watchful eyes of elves and rangers as he learns that his soul is that of a ranger. House Do’Urden is the place where he was born, but he is finding a home on the surface far from that Underdark.
