Exile book review
I just finished reading, or rather engulfing, Exile, which is Part 2 in the Forgotten Realms epic adventure The Legend of Drizzt, Book II. The adventure continues from Book I as Drizzt begins to live his live outside of his dark elf homeland. The drow activity is linked as he meets up with a svirfneblin who after an encounter with Drizzt has been outfitted with mithril hands in the Svirfneblin underground city.
From adventures with the mind flayers in the illithid cavern, to the story of how Drizzt acquires possession of his famous onyx figurine, there is an ongoing and exciting adventure throughout the entire series.
Matron Malice and Matron Baenre continue the politics around House Do’Urden as they continue to struggle for the attention and glory of Lloth, the Spider Queen. With the adventures of his dead father Zaknafein Do’Urden, the struggle continues at every page.
I am enjoying this series, and have picked up every other book in the epic adventure to read.
