Is it possible that my walking around the track for an hour is better for me then 30 minutes on the cardiovascular machines and 30 minutes of weight training? I would hope not. The hour I spent on the track was my warm up. Then I spent an hour with the trainer and was drenched. Several times. And had to stop and hit the water fountain because I did not bring a bottle of water with me. Besides I pay a trainer to help me with that hour. Walking around in circles is free. I wonder how they came up with those numbers? Guys flexing in front of mirrors 50% of the time they say they are lifting weights?

The Minneapolis Downtown YMCA charges for towel and locker service, and $0.50 for a giant towel. I’ll just bring them from the hotel for free when I grab a bottle of water in the concierge lounge.

The facility is great, staff is friendly, degreed, certified, and knowledgeable.

My goal is 3 1 hour sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and 30 minutes or an hour on Thursday mornings if we can swing it. I will try and balance out my mornings on Tuesday and Wednesday with time on the hotel treadmill, otherwise I will just do the quick set of 15 push ups and 15 or 20 sit ups before I hit the shower.

I am busy with worked and have no time to go to the gym. And when I come back I am tired and go to sleep. It kills any gaming time, that died a year ago. And it makes it much harder to do all of my work outside of the office at night and in the early mornings. but it is well worth it. I would rather be behind in work and at the gym then caught up at work with a fat behind.

And I know Eric is reading this - got great feedback including “you had great training” and “huge difference from last years Milwaukee picture to today”
