General license class

Thanks to Brian N0̸BM for teaching the class tonight on propagation. He did a great job on the topic. The material was interesting in and off itself. How can you have a conversation with someone 1200 miles away when the sun goes down and at noon you can only talk local.

And thanks to Allan for responding to my email. The class was in week 6 of 8, and in the usual great fashion of the ham community he said come right on down.

Now getting there let me drive across the river, and by following the GPS, to a dead end. Usual sense of direction let me hop on the highway and go down one exit. Then the GPS kicked back in, took me down a street, left, left, and a right back onto the same highway to go 2 more exits :) haha

Since I left at the last minute, I stopped at the gas station next to the firehouse and picked up a pad of paper, pack of pencils since they did not have any pens, and a pack of eclipse gum, very berry flavor. In case I had any breath odors, and to give me something to do on the drive back in the dark.

Thanks Brian and Allan,

73, Jim
