Chicken Fantastic at Safari Express
Lunch today was in the Midtown Global Market’s Safari Express. Jammal runs this second location with fresh food coming out of the kitchen and besing served up fresh with great service. Today I had the Chicken Fantastic with spicy rice. This came with a salad and pita bread. I added my usual, 2 bottles of water. At the end of a great meal, he handed me a cup of hot tea. I can confirm the cinnamon, and what smells and tastes like vanilla and some other spices. His friendly comment asked me to try and identify everything in the tea. Web searching of course is out of the question for the answer, what fun is it in playing trivia with the Internet?
I took this picture and emailed it to my previous years lunch companions with the note “first time I’ve bought lunch in a year” 
The food was great, service fast, and prices fair for a full size lunch.
