Today it is campus tour time at the Gator Nation, University of Florida in Gainesville. Brighid has an appointment with admissions and a stop by and wing it with the NROTC. The MOI is not available, and the Gunney told her to come by. The campus is huge, and packed with a ton of students. And the tour highlights how student activity funds for 50,000 gator nation students gets put to use from free bicycle repair shops to ice cream carts.

Brighid loved the campus and the school. A major bonus - the NROTC is all on campus, along with the Army and Air Force.

Academics - she hits the mark for admissions but is a hair short on the honors program here. Interesting since she is above the bar for honors at FSU.

The packet included a discount coupon at the bookstore. Brighid picked up an orange gaotr hooded pullover. She initially went for the blue, but I pointed out the orange looks more UF to people outside of the area.

Lunch was at Chick-Fil-A on campus. There is a full service Starbucks so mom can ome to tour the campus and visit.
