UNSUBSCRIBE from DomainingTips
I like the information, community and benefits of participating at DNForum. I recommend it to anyone interested in the business of domaining and websites. But there is also a lot of nonesense on there. One recent item in that category is a post offering people to join a newly created email list for domaining tips. After a few weeks, I unsubscribed. Why? It really had little new or valuable information. And it had a lot of links back to content on DNForum via their private web site. Why do this? A lame attempt to generate clicks, traffic, revenue and the false appearance of being important on the Internet. A sock in their underwear in a virtual world. Even the answer to my unsubscribe was so weak I thought I would post it here. Notice nothing about actual content, just the authors concern for their revenue and clicks and page hits.

In that case please stay tuned for the premium membership area. If you don’t feel like paying indirectly, you can directly pay to access the information.
All the best.

I find it funny that after I unsubscribe from this mailing list, she thinks it is okay to send me SPAM mailing to get me to subscribe to a premium service when I did not think the content was worth it for free. Here is my response -
Hi,
I will post your email shortly as a comment to the below referenced thread. If you want to post a response instead directly, feel free to make a comment on the blog item with your concerns. Thank you for sending me another unsolicited email, which I will use as content.
Have a nice day!

Please note that this will be a violation of privacy and in case you do NOT remove this information our legal department will contact your web-host and the data-center hosting your website to have the information removed.
Thanks
I can just picture this little girl sitting at home crying about getting their legal department. Lets see, how large of an organization do you have to have to actually have a legal department? Herself and a copy of Legally Blond on DVD? My response -
Then lets start the timer now. You can contact my attorney at The Law offices of Dewey, Cheatum and Hough, Boston, MA.
I will of course advise you that the email was sent to me unsolicited. I post all SPAM.
I will probably post this on DNForum to advise others of my opinion of your arrogance.
I suggest you read your own email use policy, learn what it means and then rewrite it. Or at the least get a confirmation of the policy before you send out any more unsolicted comments to an unsubscribe.
Regards
PS - this email thread and all its content will be posted shortly, index and crawled. It will of course stay in cache and archieve for a long long time. Why don’t you access the damage to your business having your phone number published will cause you and file the lawsuit now also. This is not legal advice, and bares no offer as such.

Please note that you opted-in for the newsletter — your IP and double-opt-in confirmation was logged. I am forwarding this message to to my attorney and you should expect to hear from them soon.
Like I said — you are entitled to your opinion and making your own decisions. As the moderator at DNForum I would advise you that if you do indeed post any private information, you will be responsible for your own actions as that is against the rules of the forum.

My attorney ??? What happened to the legal department??? Layoffs do to the economic slow down from the severe damage to your business - a free newsletter - by having me post the content of your SPAM email trying to get me to pay for content I don’t want for free?
I am a bad man, forcing lawyers onto the streets on India to panhandle and chase ambulnces and hit and run rickshaw accidents. My response -
I eagerly await you hiring an attorney in your home country and sending me a legal document with a cease and decist order, which will be promptly scanned and published for all to see. I am enjoying this conversation, and the traffic it will generate. LordJimsDomainingTips ( c ) ( r ) ( tm ) #1 - don’t email people comments you don’t want published.
It’s your call!
It is at this point that we can see how busy the operations are at NevioLimited for Lord Brar. She has had to lay off the legal department, and cut back to just a single attorney. She has no clients. She has nothing to do all day but send back snappy retorts thought out such as above. Such deep insight, thought, and depth of thought. And she wondered why I unsubscribed from her free, low content, news letter? My response -
Well, I have to go now and deal/chat with other adults. Be sure to tell your Mommy and Daddy good night, and don’t eat too much more sugar while playing like a big kid on the ‘puter.

You just demonstrated your logical and mental abilities with this message and I pity you for it — please give such threats and message to your members on gamegeekspeak.com only.
Your web-host and data-center will hear from my attorneys. And feel free to post this conversation — and be sure to include your messages too.
Now it is attorneys? Business pick up in the previous 30 minutes and you were able to hire a member of the previously laid off legal department back onto the payroll? I know wages are different in India, but just how little are you paying these attorneys?
Someone else subscribe to your free newsletter so you are making enough to hire another staff member?
Well, I got the last word. And will post shortly my question to you asking when I will hear from your A) legal department, B) attorney, or C) attorneys, or as we all know will happen, D) no one but you crying like the sad little girl that you are.
And of course now that I have your consent to publish this material, which I have already done without your consent, what exactly are your A, B or C, pretend virtual staff sitting with you at your little pink table having a tea party, going to complain about?
Where is that guy to review this. He loves this stuff. Your information about that domain is as out of date as your blog.
