TechReady 6 Day -I Badges
A new and continued activity is the badge cards. It lets you put a card behind your badge to identify your areas of interest and or expertise during talks and chats. And the thing I do is usually not there. This year, I drew upon my gaming convention experiences, and just grabbed those that fit me, wrote in the other in pen (Yes, that is ITAP written in with the badge pen) and stapled the cards together.
Joanna: You know what, Stan, if you want me to wear 37 pieces of flair, like your pretty boy over there, Brian, why don’t you just make the minimum 37 pieces of flair?
Stan, Chotchkie’s Manager: Well, I thought I remembered you saying that you wanted to express yourself.
Joanna: Yeah. You know what, yeah, I do. I do want to express myself, okay. And I don’t need 37 pieces of flair to do it.
Gaming conventions hand you sticker badge tags for events you are registered to attend, events you win. And for the cute and clever, you purchase or make your own tags with phrases. In other words convention badge flair. And can we ever have enough flair?
