TechReady 6 Day -II Travel Day
Up early to send Anna and Brighid to the gym. Important things going on today. Yes, its time for High School Musical karaoke on our Wii. Eilis is having a High School musical birthday party this year, and one of the activities is karaoke. And what better daddy-daughter time then standing there singing songs together
After playing a few games it became clear we needed another copy of High School Musical to get the 2nd USB microphone for duets and party singing.
Off to drop Eilis at Tae Kwon Do with Brighid, and then do a run to Wal-Mart for supplies and the second copy of the High School Musical. A stop at Dick’s Sporting Goods for Under Armor for both myself and Anna. I am getting it to make sure the walk to the gym in Seattle all next week is comfortable. Anna needs it just because she cannot handle the cold. Holy cow - this stuff is expensive. It better be able to let me walk around Seattle toasty and looking great. I would rather be back at the Wal-Mart spending $5 for this stuff without the U label on it.
Time to back all the bags and get ready to go to the airport. On the way a last minute stop at The Vitamin Shoppe for a box of protein bars and grab Anna at late at StarBucks. Bags all packed, at off to Philadelphia International (PHL). Easy flight schedule today. Check in bags, carry laptop with book, reading glasses, pen and extreme difficulty sudoku book.

On my first flight, nodding off while doing the puzzles, the flight attendant comes by and shuts off my reading light. And of course wakes me right up. And she is surprised, and a bit startled. I have never had a flight attendant do that before. I hope she stops doing it.
Time in Vegas to play Wheel of Fortune and help increase the progressive jackpot from $1,900,000.00 by an extra $20.00. In case I did win, this report would have ended pretty quickly. But as a backup plan, I also picked up $20 worth of tickets for the Mega Millions. The jackpot this week is up to “Jim don’t work no more” or some other huge amount. I bought the tickets and handed them to Anna when I left. If a future blog post has me coming home to an empty house, I might think about that decision.
The flight to Seattle was bumpy and we landed during a light rain. Picked up my bag from the airport and called the Seattle Town car service guy to meet me outside the door. By the time I got to the hotel, checked in and got to my room it was almost 2AM, 5AM my time. A few hours sleep and then I can get to my pre-event tomorrow. Or is it today?
