Yes, I am giving away magazine subscriptions. Now in case there is some loop hole in the frequent flyer program that says I cannot sell these, I am giving them away. Why? Because my family is taking a trip to Europe this summer and I need the extra cash. What do I need the cash for? Things like airline tickets for one thing. Well Jim why are you not just using all these airline points to FLY with. Because we are taking the entire family. And my parents are getting up in years and want to spend every chance then can around me. Can you blame them? No, I cannot either. And because of this deep love for me, they refused to understand the concept of getting on separate airplanes for the trip. So I have extra miles all over the place.

How much of a donation does it take to get these subscriptions? Like PBS, it is a great deal. Just tell me here on my blog what magazines you want, and how much you want to donate. I will send you the PayPal instructions, and then when I receive your donation, the magazine subscription confirmation details.

Should you just send me money? Heck yes - that is always the right answer to that question. But should you assume I still have subscriptions, no. Ask first.

Usually, I will just ask for half of what a regular magazine subscription service would charge you. I am not doing this to make money, just to raise some cash for my family vacation this year.

Will I use this money to gamble on the cruise ship? I play craps and Anna plays slots, take it from there.

Will I use this money to dump the kids on the grandparents and take my wife down to the spa for an adult evening session for a mud bath for two? The fact that I know that they offer this onboard ship should tell you my hopes on that point.

Will I use this money to tip the religious person who marries my wife and I on the cruise ship? Yes, Anna and I have been married at least a dozen times now. Sometimes under different names, but always to each other. Heck, I would marry her now if she were here and there was a priest at the local Indian casino that had a great hat on to make for an interesting picture.
