The Caramel Cookie Twist Protein bar at 330 calories and 30 grams of protein is a great meal replacement, but the sodium, carbs and sugars make this not a good bar for bariatric surgery patients. These things have the protein, but all the other stuff that comes with it makes this like all other protein bars things you need to read the ingredients and nutritional levels very closely.

This bar is thick, chewy and a bar you eat slowly and with water. The taste and texture is there. Now on the odd side, the bar is sticky. Good tasting in the wrapper and on your fingers. Be prepared to open the foil wrapper slowly, eat it in small bites, and then lick the foil clean on the inside and then wash your hands. Surprising to see a protein bar melty like this in a cold Wisconsin day. Of course if you like this, check out the cookie bars which say to microwave them for 10 seconds toget a fresh baked cookie smell and texture.
