With a small snow on the ground, I managed to drive back to the hotel from work. Looking out my window, I see cars going by all the time. I placed an order for dinner with 30 minute lead time for delivery from Pizza Shuttle. Nothing big, just a salad and soup order. After one hour had gone by, I called to check on the order. After waiting on hold, the guy on the phone spends 2 minutes trying to find it, then tells me it left already. I waited another 30 minutes, then called in again. This time, the lady on the phone with a much nicer personality, explains that the weather is making a difference, but they are close and I should have the delivery any time now. I told her okay, I will wait a few minutes longer.

Fifteen minutes goes by, then the knock on the door. The drivers asks for the credit card to confirm on the slip. He hands me the bag, which I find out is cold and not the right order. How do you mess up a bowl of soup and a large salad?

The driver says the CC I gave him is not the one on the order. Seems In my haste to get down what I needed to do 45 minutes ago, I walked to the door and pulled the wrong card out of my wallet. Maybe if I had placed my order not 2 hours ago, I would have remembered which card I had used. Good, because it gave me the second to examine the order and hand it back to him.

If the weather is bad, let people know when you place the order.

If there is snow on the ground in Philadelphia, people freak. In Wisconsin they ride bikes to work in it. When I drive in it, see cars going by and people walking, it isn’t the storm of the century.

Pizza Shuttle in Milwaukee is not a bargain for pizza and salads on a normal day. In fact, the only reason to use them is that they deliver with plates and napkins and have a large variety of items. The price is high. Higher then anything else in the Milwaukee area. For that higher price you expect better service, honesty when you call to check on an already late order, and the right food to show up. Pizza Shuttle failed on all of those tonight.

How would I rate this experience with Pizza Shuttle? 0 out of 10 - wrong items, delivered cold, over an hour late, with no apology for the service

How would I rate previous visits with them? 7 our of 10 - Expensive, tasty pizza good for bringing into an office lunch meeting, with plenty of condiments, and large servings.

I guess the owners Mike and Lou don’t work in the evenings, because things sure change after dark.
