Idol never been kissed - never going to win
Last night we saw an American Idol candidate who let us all know that he has never kissed a girl. The judges asked if he did that on purpose. His singing had nothing of interest. It lacked any feeling or depth. When he asked what he could do, one of the judges told him to “go kiss a girl”. I agree with Sarah Preston on Fox News today when she said that he needs to go to 3rd, 4th or 5th base with a girl. Now I am not sure what you can do at 5th base. I can imagine. I can imagine really well. Sarah, I travel on business each week and my wife is very supportive of my blogging efforts. If you care to let me know what happens on 5th base, I am sure I can get her permission. Or her forgiveness. Which ever is easier
But let’s be honest, virtuous and virginity are not things we envy in our celebrities in this society. Unless you are a young girl. Not a hot teenager in college, but a young girl. There we expect people to be civil, proper, reserved and decent. I have to wonder if the idol candidate last night thought saw the 40 Year old virgin and thought it was a documentary rather then a comedy.
Oh well, he got enough fame to be on TV last night and again today. I wonder if he will update his web site to say as seen on American Idol?
But the biggest part of American Idol is the failure story, because the success story is only for the shows producers while the show is on the air.
