Breakfast at Krystals
We stopped for breakfast on the trip back into Florida at of all places Brunswick, Georgia. This Krystals is next door to the Exxon of the now famous incident of Anna locking us out of our car. Yes, we got locked out of our car in a gas station and had to call someone to come and unlock it for us.
Anyway, I digress - everytime we drive past this exit.
The breakfast was fine, I always liked Krystals for their mini slider burgers when we ate fast food. Now it is only when we have to on the road. It gives the kids time to stretch and make a bathroom break. I ordered the southwestern scrambler - which was a nice mix of eggs, vegetables and peppers in a small bowl. Handy for eating while driving. the kids had a huge breakfast combo with 3 eggs scambled, a side of pancakes, and order of orange juice and 4 sausages. For the price, this was a great breakfast we were able to share amongst them in the back seat. We added an order of biscuit gravy and that completed the meal. With taxes it came to $10.13 for breakfast for 5. The bottled water and sodas left over from the party were in the trunk so we don’t buy drinks when on the highway.
