Want to get $20 of free gas at WaWa? Subscribe to the Courier-Post for one month for $16 and choose the $20 WaWa gift card. Now I do not subscribe to the local newspaper. I think in this day and age print media papers are an environmental waste from the paper to ink to the god awful circulars and flyers to the delivery costs and impacts. But Anna wants coupons to go shopping, and this is a small test - can she save enough to make the newspaper free? And if so, why can she not find the coupons online and save me the $16 a month also?

But for a month or two, she gets the paper.

Why not just get the Sunday? That is $9 and does not give you a gift card. And she also needs Wednesday or Thursday for those supermarket coupon days. Do they still have those days? I do not know and neither does she. But in a few days, she gets a gift card, fills up the gas tank for $20 worth of free gas at our local WaWa - which is currently $2.80 per gallon for regular. Then unless she really needs the weekdays, drop it back to Sunday only. Do I think she will save enough to make the newspaper free? For the first day yes, but after that no.
