Loading ...How to keep people reading and commenting?
It is a big question, and I suspect someone already has this down in good order, so reference links are appreciated to good published online guides.
I am looking for suggestions on best approach to comments, subscriptions and community building for a few of my blogs on WordPress.
- A #1 - keep out the bots
- Allow regular people to post comments
- Allow people to subscribe to RSS feeds
- I came across a post where someone turned on ads on their blogs but disabled them for people who posted comments, not a mandatory but a cool idea
Is there a way to get a good mix of the above and get off of block registrations but fight the ill spawn of the web and their bot programs? I have looked into the subscription2 plugin but not installed it yet. So any suggestions anyone has are greatly appreciated.
