This was posted on the Wordpress forums. It is an all to often heard question from people who don’t take simple basic precautions with their data. I have backups. Some very current, some older. But I can recover to some extent even in a big disaster. In a major disaster, the things most important to me are my family. Those you can never recover and must protect all the time.

The person who built my website and who host my website lost all my post of my wordpress. Please, is there any way to retrieve those past post of my blogs? My web person is talanted he had my blogs posted on the front of my website ” midtownautoservice.net” but he crashed his server and all my post that I made are all gone now! I’m so frustrated I don’t know what to do please…I’ll pay to get those blogs back…I spent hours writing and updating those pat blogs

And my answer -

1 - where are you backups?
2 - go to google and get the cached copies of your website and copy paste rebuild
3 - archives

But #1 is the constant and always asked question Where are your backups?
