Just to add more of a joke to the discussion of wether a school ring is a mandatory part of a high school experience or just crap pushed on society by school ring companies and their local sales agents who hype them. My stance is pretty clear. Valentine’s Day is not a holiday to show your love towards your special person. It is a Hallmark holiday were you have to buy a card and other items or you get no cuddlign that night. And are reminded about it by a shrill harpy because all her girlfriends wanted to compare what they got, and she got the bottom of the rung.

Anyway, I degress. School rings are serious business who should only be obtained by people who achieved status for successful completion of studies and putting out hard work.
