Help, I’ve spent too much money
Apparently some new home owners around the country are crying like bitches that they bought their new homes from builders. The houses are fine, the construction solid, they ordered and got all the extras they wanted like cabinets and such. What they are crying about is that the builders sold them a home for X, and is now trying to dump the remaining inventory for X-$.
Enough with the algebra and business math. Joe and Mary bought a home from a builder for $500,000. They went to settlement last week. This week the builder announced they are selling the same house for $350,000. And Joe and Mary are upset.
They don’t have any reason to be upset. Or any right to complain.
But the news crews put them on TV.
