Now this vampire movie looks interesting. The previews I have seen make it look like a suspense film to see on opening weekend. And viiolent and gory enough but with a story and plot to make it worth watching. I suspect this will be a date movie for me and Anna when it comes out on October 19th.

The Plot: A pack of vampires descend upon Barrow, Alaska just as the sun is about to set for 30 days. Two cops, a husband and wife team, rise up to protect their town and its citizens.

THE BUZZ: Sam Raimi scooped the rights to Steve Niles’s increasingly mainstream graphic novel and has set a genre-appropriate release date for David Slade’s follow-up to Hard Candy. More dubious than the person behind the camera (we’re only saying we wish Slade would stick to the art house) are the two main people in front of it, Hartnett and George. Their toughest competition?
