I have never watched this show before. For whatever reason this Sci-Fi original series never jumped out from the previews as something I would want to watch. Well tonight they apparently are having a marathon, and I have seen a few episodes, ending now with the season finale. Now I don’t know any of the cast or their characters, but the show is fair to okay. I don’t feel to enamored towards anyone, and so far there is a constant implied danger but no one dies or explodes. Such much for science gone amuck as the previews offered.
The jokes have been interesting boarding on lame. In one scene, a lab, called GD, has a viral out break and is shut down. A lady is talking to two nerds or geeks that work at the lab arguing about using a computer to hack into a back door of the lab to see what is going on. The girl says that there is plenty of back door access to go around. At that point I expected to hear a laugh track WooOOOOooooOOOO.
The cop or deputy or sherrif, whatever Carter is, seems to be an almost idiot. Now I am not sure if he works for the town or works for GD. And watching this show, GD has a relationship with the US Government or US Military or DoD. I have to wonder if you see nire episodies if there is some serious science, or MythBusters type stuff, or its really funny parodies that I just don’t get. The show is still on, since like a bad book, its better to watch it till the end to know its bad.
