Doctor Who season finale - part I
I watched the season finale this Friday with our oldest. Strange having to explain to someone who is watching Doctor Who who The Master is. It is interesting the way the new show has brought all of the old enemies back, slowly and in a structured show that flows from episode to episode.
The finale has a part II this Friday. I won’t be home in time, but luckily they will record it for me. And since she will be at a friends when I get home, I have to decide to wait for her, or just watch it myself. Being the super Dad I am, I guess I will wait.
Not sure who else is following the new Doctor Who series, or if you are watching it on BBC, or 6 months later on Sci-Fi channel, or 2 months after that on DVD. Personally Doctor Who was always a watch it in 30 minute blocks on PBS show, so I would expect to be behind the UK viewers, and watching it in pieces or part of the experience. Watching it on DVD would not be exciting to me. Like reading the last pages of a book doesn’t add anything, its the journey that adds to the enjoyment.
