Eastern Promises

Last week I had a chance to take Anna to see a movie, and since I am always looking to get onto her good side, she got to pick the film. She picked Eastern Promises. All I knew about it was that it was about a dead russian girl found in some city. The movie is set in modern London, has an interesting storyline, a good mix of suspense and violence. There are a few scenes where Anna was grabbing my hand or rather jumped and squeezed it, as she cringed. But the story was interesting and kept us watching the entire time. Not a film I would pick up on DVD to watch again, but it is a good film for an adult date night out without the kids.
