Day 15 - Thursday

A few more doors went in. I made a trip to Haddonfield lumber looking for a masonite 6 panel colonial door with louvers. I found them on the Internet. But Lowes said it was a special order door. Haddonfield Lumber said they had it when I called the night before, but when i got there, all they had was a clear pine door. Well for that, cheaper and easier to just have the existing door sanded, painted white and put back in place with new hardware.

Breakfast was cereal
Lunch was a bit off do to getting food for the guys working. So we just joined in.
Dinner I had expected Eilis to eat at her grandparents but she slept or they were busy, but anyway, I ran and got them Wendy’s.

I have done a clean out of the refrigerator prior to trash pickup this morning. Junk, old stuff, and garbage all went out. The refrigerator is NOT cleaned. That isn’t my job. The people who’s job it is are coming home in a few days.

Working around the house, watering plants and cleaning up rooms more.

Trying to get some work in, and betweem the dog, the baby, and the work going on, it is very fragmented and difficult.

SO much trash on the curb today. I noticed that the scavengers were out around 5AM and picked through things. I kept an ear out for the garbage truck and when they got here went outside and offered to buy them lunch, handing them a $20. An interesting discussion point - when you put out a ton of trash, do you tip your garbage man? I think its fair. First off they are doing an extra service, secondly you might want them to look the other way or work quickly on certain bags.
