Day 2

Friday is a long start to the weekend off for me and the girls. Sleep out on the living room floor, hand out the little gifts Anna made for them. Sear’s is coming today to fix the washer. I spoke with Ann about watching the girls for a few minutes so I can run and grab a haircut.

Breakfast - toast and butter and mini bagels.

Lunch - stuff from in the house

Sears was supposed to be here between 8 and 12. I started calling them at 10:30 for a status. The guy shows up at 4PM. He can’t get the error codes to show up, so wants to leave. I tell him to clean the machine as if he got the LD, FL or OB error codews that Anna was getting. He says it will not do any good and the problem might have self corrected itself. He leaves, I start a load of wash to get the laundry all caught up. LD error. Dam. I will play with this over the weekend and call Sears if I can’t get a load washed properly.

Ann stopped by at 3 to watch the kids and I ran around the corner for a haircut. The nice thing about the place is the barber has been doing this for decades, and prefers to tell you how he would like to cut your hair. And he tells people Number 3 and number 4 are for a deli not a barber shop, so dont say you need a Number 3 haircut in his shop. He doesn’t take cash, so I ran down to Walgreen’s, grabbed milk and juice and a small pack of TastyKakes as a treat for the girls plus a cash advance.

Anna gets on the ship today. i ordered her a few Bon’Voyage Gifts - a package with 2 bath robes, 2 after dinner chocolate covered strawberry’s and canape’s before dinner. The robe her and I can use, we just talked about this before she left, but I am sure she doesn’t remember. The strawberry’s Brighid can fiend attack. The small items are good snack sizes for Anna to sample stuff. I also ordered an in room assortment of nuts - a big thing for Anna. And for Brighid, a soda gift card which includes a souvernier mug for her. Unlimited soda’s on the ship for her at any time.
