Day 1

Day 1 is going good. We got up, washed up, teeth brushed, hair combed, clothes on, lunch made and everyone out the door. Eilis has a field trip today so lunch was in a brown paper bag. We dropped off Eilis, and went to Cooper River Park. With the stroller, diaper bag, 2 bottles of water, a sippy cup of juice and some of those peanut butter cracker Brighi dleft us, we set off. I had my phone, but did not turn the music on. The 3.8 mile path was done in 55 minutes. Clearly no marathon time, but for a first go it went very well. i stopped because of the baby. I could do a second loop with no problems, but I need to bring a better snack for her tomorrow, and a 2nd sippy cup with iced tea for her to drink.

As for me, I need to switch to a sleeveless shirt to get more of the sun in. If it warms up a bit more, I’ll just go shirtless.

Tonight is Eilis’ t-ball game. When I pick her up from school we will see how her UTI is doing, and gauge it from there. If there are no problems, off we will go. It’s last day of school till Tuesday. And so far our only weekend invitation is to go to Ann’s on Sunday for a 4 PM cook out.

I need a haircut, have laundry to drop off, and need to run over to the jewelry store to get an appraisal done. Plus some food shopping but the kids can do that with me. I might see about a sitter to run Eilis to see Pirates 3. but I don’t know if she or I have seen Pirates 2.
