telemarketing fraud and the national do not call list
Another ignoring the Do Not Call List outfit. When asked why they do not honor the DNCL they give the same answer, “Because we do not have to since we…”. It is always at this point that I becdome rude, explaining to the caller that their organization can see our request to not be called and choose tpo not call me, but instead does not give a shit about our wishes. This will go back and forth a few times, with my asking to be on their own do not call list and asking if they will bother to honor that one

As a good corporate citizen, businesses should see your request to not recieve any calls, and not call you, regardless of local, State or Federal law. The law of common good, and decency to your fellow man is far older then the DNC List regulations in the US. And any business who chooses to ignore your request is not a business you should work with.
