This year’s big suprise gifts from Dad included 3 subscriptions to the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA

The reaction from the kids was very excited and emotional from Anna. Another great year of holiday shopping for the family, done in the last week before Christmas, with minimal wrapping or hassles at the mall. I still did my usual trip out at the last minute for stuff, but I like doing that very close to Christmas. I had no company this year on my 2 shopping trips. One I could not take Brighid with me, the other she was in school.

And the other item was a new computer for our middle one. She needed a new one, and this lets us get rid of the TV in her room and the computer in the living room. Windows XP Media Edition 2005, and a flat panel monitor. Will be nice to see her with a new PC and not yelling at me that XXX Game wont install, or starts slow or crashes the computer. Now how long until this one gets loaded down with cookies, garbage or tons of fun for 30 minute games, time will tell.

The best gift I got this year was watching the family on Christmas Day.
