We the transfer long finalized, and no new announcement, I dropped this note to a few friends this morning.

First let me wish you all a Merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season this year. You are receiving this because I owe you an update.

A few months back I turned over the reigns of Up All Night Gaming. Since then, the new administrator has started on some great efforts to help you and the rest of the community grow. But like so many of us, other things come onto the priority list such as family and work. I wish them the best of luck, and will stop by from time to time to check up on how great things are going for you all. I have been available to help during the transition, but my time is up.

It was never my goal to make any sort of announcement, but with the new administrators being busy, I started to get IM’s, then emails, and finally a phone call asking if something had happened. My wife and I talked about it, and thought it was not right for me to leave you hanging on any longer. For that you have my apologies, I wanted you to have gotten the big announcement from the new rather then the old.

What am I up to? I started a few new projects; the highest on my list are the cleanup of the look and content of our family website at http://www.skamarakas.com

Please stop by and check it out, I am definitely interested in your feedback. If you had seen it before, you will 100% love the improvements. We are still debating on a recipe looking theme, but my wife has a few hundred recipes to get posted. I cannot begin to tell you how much better Word Press is over the blog software in Community Server we where using. And on the photos side, I cannot praise the benefits of our moving to Gallery. Finally, we want to upload all of our pictures. My wife has a few thousand to upload…no really.

I have some real interest in this. The forums are up, team speak is up, the website is up but it is thanks to Robble a wiki format. It solves my biggest weakness of lack of graphical talent. The look and feel is pretty neat, but as always, your suggestions and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Take a moment, stop by and say hello, I would love to hear from you.

Lastly, let me end with what this community started with - a game. A new game. And a need for us to have a home to play, talk, fight, and laugh after working all day. After all this time, I am so excited about what we have accomplished here. All of the work done in AC, AO and DAoC is lost for ever. Here you have a permanent home. I am always reminded of the loss of that content from those years of great gaming, and hope it never happens again.
