Saturday weight training
The two little ones went to the day care center and the three of us went upstairs to do our workouts on the weight training equipment. Our oldest is in a little too much of a hurry this first time. My wife and I went through everything. Afterwards we took the entire clan to SUBWAY for some 6″ sandwiches. I did a bottle of water. Almost a full month without soda.
My wife - sore back, our oldest has sore elbows. I was in sweating on the curls machines from my arms. After the weights we did the full stretch routine and I was ache and pain free my the time we had lunch. The other two were still aching at dinner time.
My biggest suprise was on the leg press machine, my weight on the card was 210 pounds. Dam. My last station was 40 pounds of some pull down to my chest then down and back to chest level. First rep of 15 was hard, by 10 on the second rep I was straining to hold onto the bar. Overall the arm routines are the hardest for me, and the large legs are cake even at 210 pounds but the small leg muscles at 80 to 100 pounds are killers.
My card does say 3 times a week, so it will be interesting to see where I am at Labor Day.
