NC and back

I should have loaded up on cigarettes and fireworks. I just walked in the door after being gone for 38 hours. I put 1,200 miles on the Navigator, listened to a ton of dance music on the Sirius satellite radio Area 33 dance station, and managed to get a little work done.
And cruising home, I picked up doughnuts for the family so they could welcome me home in style. The kids are asleep and my wife was not happy to be woken up. Aah for the days long ago when I would wake up my no kids wife and our dog Lucy, a great pound puppy Sheppard mix. Then the jumping up and down, loving and slobbering and affection was all over me as we sat in bed eating a doughnut at 2AM. And even the dog got excited.
