We got on the road and escaped the flooding but not the traffic jams it caused Pugilist has a bigger run down of all his prep work this year. Breakfast was Burger King, lunch was a turnpike ARBYS. The joke being Pugilist telling us a few miles back how ARBY’s what crap and he did not like to eat there. And of course, masters of communications we are, I order the 8 piece chicken special, he expects there to be sides for the 4 of us. We end up having to make a second trip for sides. As shocking as it may seem, he threw away packets of butter and jelly. Pugilist is an anticondimentite.

I expected the hotel to be a scumbag dive in a bag alley off a side road next to a warehouse. Yes it is on a side road next to a warehouse. But the hotel is clearn, the elevator works, the rooms are roomy, and the Internet is free and fast. Pugilist will be beside himself till next convention bragging about how much money he saved us by booking us rooms at the Comfort Suites instead of the Marriott’s I booked.

We arrived and did Papa Johns 2 large and 2 2 liter diet and regular sodas. Excitement this weekend to follow.
