Tech Ed 2006 - Train

Not the band, which will be performing at the Thursday night attendee party in Fenway Park. I am taking the train. The Acela on Sunday to be exact. While the Acela doesn’t get to really strut it’s stuff in the NorthEast Corridor. But once it is on the leg between New York and Boston it does shave off an hour travel time. Yes some of that is do to all the stops the regional and clocker make, but it’s still a time safer.
And a rather suprising thing with all the trips I take on AMTRAK, I learned that they give a AAA discount. Amazing. but apparently only if you book online 3 days in advance. So a few pennies saved on the TechEd 2006 expense report.
