another thing I love about Eilis

Just to set the scene, its raining, we are in the Navigator, she is sitting in the middle row and turns on the VCR player in the center console. I turn on the radio, pull down the LCD TV and contineu driving. I did this all with my right hand.
She doesn’t have the tape playing and after chatting, I reach up again with my left hand and find and start hitting the Select button. I pass the TV selection and Bratz is on and skip past it.
Eilis: “Hey thats BRATZ”
Me: “Hold on” I flip back around to the TV selection
Eilis “Thanks Daddy”
the show is now playing while I am driving
Me “Um, are you allowed to watch BRATZ”
Eilis: ” Mommy doesn’t let me watch BRATZ”
Me: “Want me to turn it off?”
Eilis: “No, I am fine thanks”
