My arch nemesis – projectors
Moinday morning presentation, sit in an open chair, to find I am directly in line with a projector in the room. So I move over so I am in between the two screens, 3 feet away and can see everything great. Nope, apparently I am in the way and am asked to move to the other side of the room.
So for the rest of the meeting I sit reading papers in the dark, staring at double vision projector screens and wipe running eyes. Great.
It seems to be a mix of two bright which is for the most part great for me. And the darkness around me – which is very bad. In a movie theatre during the previews / commercials it is almost pitch black for me. When the lights dim for the movie to start I might as well have a bag ove rmy head, it is pitch black. Then the movie starts in bright and I am in a halo for a few seconds.
So cones and rods and the retina – again same story: nothing I can do, be greatful I can see at all. But it just gets frustrating. Like talking to the director next to me and looking at her two heads while blinking like an idiot.
