Maffei Resigns From Oracle
And after just 4 months on the job Bloomberg News reported on 11/4/2005 that Greg Maffei is resigning as chief financial officer and co-president of Oracle. Maffei, former CFO at Microsoft, apparently has clashed with other top Oracle executives. Gee, great move leaving Microsoft? On to bigger oportunities in the industry. Or did you try and take a Microsoft culture and bring it to Oracle and butt heads all over the place? Anyone know of a watching Oracle like a hawk or little Oracle blog to read up on these internal clashes during Maffei’s long reign at Oracle?
