Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I put the oldest and the middle one in the car and did not tell them where we were going. Of course the oldest figured it out when we walked in the door. The little one jumped up and down as the chocolate poured into the molds during the opening credits and yelled “This is Charlie and the chocolate factory - I know this movie:” She spent the rest of the movie beeming, eating her snacks, and passing out hugs and kisses in between claps and cheers. When the movie ended she stood up and applauded.

This is a must see movie for every adult and their kids.
Christoper Lee is his usual serious brilliant nd perfect for the role of Dr. Wonka.
The kids are so true to the book and every one of them is an excellent updated for our times match for their roles.
Some moms are talking about the nut sorting scene being too much for kids. I 100% disagree. The 4 year old has seen it twice, thinks it is just great. Now, yes if you are an adult, its a scene spoof on Willow. There is the spoof on 2001 complete with music and obelisk.
